FOOT LOCKER
For the FIFA Women World Cup 2019, we tapped into Foot Locker’s iconic branding to shine a light on the most underrated athletes in the game: the referees.
Taking a stand for female empowerment relevant for the brand in this context, without being a partner of the event. Our thought was the following : it’s not hard to be a female referee. It’s hard to be a referee.
Celebrating female empowerment in football
We redesigned the Foot Locker logo into a female logo, created a three-piece content series of 3 promising young female refs along with slick photography. And most of all, had Foot Locker fund them.
